Letter from a recent face lift patient - March 2009

Dear, dear, Dr. Maxwell,

I knew it was time to do something when my Costco picture was looking better than I was. I also knew gravity wasn’t going to one day mysteriously change it’s directional pull lifting everything upward for those of us over 50. My dream… someday when I had the money, I would have a face lift. I began doing my homework well in advance.

I started coming to your office (Maxwell Aesthetics) for facials as a testing ground to the kind of service you provided. It gave me a chance to get familiar with the office and staff. My first facial was with Estella. She was wonderful. She explained everything she was doing and why she was doing it and what I should do for “up keep”. I think she even threw in a few extra treatments for me. I had subsequent facials with Sandy. She was also wonderful and fun. I think she threw in a few extras for me too. Every member of the staff seemed professional, helpful and pleasant. ( I find those three elements a rarity in most offices these days.) I was very impressed.

When I met with you, I loved the way you sat next to me on the couch and asked what I wanted to do, as well as, my concerns and fears (yes fears!). You told me what my procedure would entail and what to expect.

Post OP…
I can’t thank you enough for, not only the skills you possess and your embracing personality, but how you treated me before and after surgery. Having a face lift is a big deal, emotionally and physically (it’s definately not for sissies)...but I highly recommend it! Thank you to Katie and Carol for the much needed encouragement they gave me several days after the surgery when I wondered “what had I done”.

Sincere thanks for my restoration!

P.S....I’m on my way to Costco for a new picture!
